Each four-letter type describes preferences across four dimensions: where you tend to direct energy, how you notice information, how you make decisions and how you approach structure. They are tendencies—not measures of intelligence, ability or mental health.
Use a type as a starting hypothesis. Read the strengths and blind spots, compare the nearby types and keep only what matches your real behavior. If you are searching for an official MBTI® assessment, first see how it differs from DEEPDIEMER's independent free test.
Frequently asked questions
Does AI decide my personality type?
No. This personality test calculates your result from your answers using fixed scoring rules in your browser. It does not ask ChatGPT or Claude to assess you and does not use your chat history. The separate AI Audit and optional AI image creation are different features.
Is the test free, and how many questions are there?
The test is free and needs no account. You answer 20 core questions, with up to 10 follow-up questions when preferences are close. Allow a few minutes and answer at your own pace.
Is this the official 16Personalities or MBTI® test?
No. DEEPDIEMER is independent, with its own questions and scoring. It is not affiliated with 16Personalities or The Myers-Briggs Company and does not administer the official MBTI® assessment.
What do the letters and A/T mean?
E/I describes your preferred source of energy, S/N how you notice information, T/F how you weigh decisions, and J/P how you approach structure. The extra A/T scale describes self-assurance and sensitivity to pressure. These are tendencies, not grades or fixed identities.
How should I answer when it depends?
Think about what is usually true in your everyday life, rather than your ideal self or one exceptional day. Use the middle option when neither side fits better. There are no good or bad answers.
Why can I get a different type another time?
Different answers can change your result, especially when a preference is near the midpoint. The test gives you a closest-fit profile; a small difference in scores can change a letter. Read the dimensions and compare nearby types rather than treating the label as permanent.
How much should I trust the result?
Use it as a starting point for reflection and check it against real examples. DEEPDIEMER does not claim clinical validation or a measured accuracy rate for this test. It does not diagnose conditions or measure intelligence, and a type alone cannot predict relationship success.
What happens to my answers, and do I have to share?
Scoring happens in your browser. Your in-progress answers are held in this browser session so you can continue, and the saved progress is removed when the test finishes. Sharing is optional. If you choose a separate AI feature, you decide whether to send its prepared prompt to that provider.
Still not sure?
Professor Rosi recommends: answer as you are in everyday life. Your type is a starting point for reflection.
