AI vs therapy
AI is a mirror. Therapy is a relationship.
AI can help you see patterns. Therapy helps you work through what those patterns cost you, especially when pain, trauma or clinical symptoms are involved.
Different jobs
AI self-analysis is fast, private and good at structuring messy personal information. Therapy is slower, relational and built for clinical, emotional and behavioral change. Comparing them as competitors is lazy. They solve different parts of the problem.
Where AI is useful
AI is useful for naming loops, summarizing history, preparing for therapy, creating reflection questions and giving you a first draft of your own psychological map. It is also useful when you need momentum and do not want to wait weeks to start thinking.
Where AI is not enough
AI should not diagnose you, replace crisis support or become the only place you process serious mental health issues. It cannot observe your body, repair attachment through relationship, or take responsibility for your safety.
The sane model
Use AI for clarity. Use therapy for depth, accountability and clinical support. Use coaching when the issue is performance, decision-making, behavior, relationships or identity rather than a clinical condition.
