Personality analysis
A personality analysis should not trap you in a type.
A useful personality analysis does not say “you are X.” It says: here is what repeats, here is what it gives you, and here is what it costs.
Labels are shortcuts
Labels can be useful for orientation, but they become stupid when people start defending them. “I am just like that” often means “I do not want to look at the consequence.”
Behavior over identity
The better unit of analysis is behavior: how you handle uncertainty, attention, conflict, ambition, boredom, intimacy, status, money and fear. Those things reveal more than a four-letter type.
Strengths with cost
A serious personality analysis explains double edges. Charisma can hide avoidance. Intelligence can become over-control. Ambition can become spiritual poverty. Sensitivity can become manipulation. The truth is usually in the trade-off.
